Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) has been around since there are search engines. The story of SEO basically starts with PageRank. It was developed in 1996 at Stanford University by the two founders of Google Larry Page and Sergey Brin—however, the algorithm is no longer in used as of 2024 today. But the algorithm showed for the first time that the positioning of websites and pages hon the search engine result pages (SERP) happens according to a certain algorithm. As a result, first webmasters became SEOs and optimized their websites accordingly. It has been over 20 years since the first SEOs started optimizing websites for the purpose of being ranked high. Meanwhile, it can be said that Google determines how websites should be built. The so-called Google Webmaster Guidelines tell the webmasters exactly what they need to do in order to appear in the highest positions of the SERP. Therefore, it is inevitable to know all Google Guidelines if one wants to get ranked high. Conversely, websites cannot be upgraded if they do not comply with Google’s policies. Add to that 20 years of SEO experience in the SEO space. Outside of Google, there are a number of experiences and insights that are regularly shared among SEOs. These are also partially confirmed by Google through numerous channels Google uses. For example, Google has provided numerous videos on YouTube as well as numerous blogs for SEOs. In addition, Google spokespersons target SEOs through numerous other blogs, forums, and social media channels. However sometimes, the best SEO knowledge can’t be found anywhere as some SEOs have exclusive knowledge about SEO techniques. We have shared some of that knowledge in this SEO blog category.
