  • After 24 months, you would have received $10,080 in referral fees.
  • If you referred us 10 clients like these, you would have received $100,800 after 24 months, basically by doing nothing.

Referrals have been the cornerstone of blue media’s success, driving approximately 90% of our client acquisitions. Since our very beginning, we have relied on referrals as our primary sales channel.

This approach has sustained our business, but also has enabled us to avoid significant costs that would have otherwise been allocated to online advertising, engaging lead building agencies, or establishing an outreach sales department.

Instead, that money goes to you.

The referral program is not set to end. If our contract with the client stays as is and renews automatically as set forth without another round of a sales pitch, you will get referral fees indefinitely. Most of our clients stay with us more than 5 years.

Typically, we don’t engage in lengthy contractual agreements with our referral partners. Our commitments and promises are straight forward as outlined in this page, and are conveyed through email … and in the State of California, email communications and our regular payment practices are recognized as a binding contractual agreement.

However, if you prefer a more formal arrangement, we are more than willing to provide a paper contract with the same promises, accompanied by a signature.

The referral fee is associated with the initial contract that was signed when you introduced the lead to us. As long as this contract remains unchanged or uncancelled, you will continue to receive the referral fees. However, if the client decides to upgrade their services at a later stage, these additional upgrades will no longer be included in the referral fee.

Here are a couple of examples to illustrate this: Let’s say the client initially pays $5000 per month for our PPC services, and you receive a referral fee of $750 per month.

If the client later decides to add another website worth $3000 per month to their agreement or includes additional content production, these new additions will not be part of your referral fee anymore. You would still receive the $750 per month of the initial project.

We consider these updates and upgrades as part of an after-sales process in which you were no longer directly involved. However, if you were actively involved in promoting and facilitating these upsells as the primary contact person, you would, of course, be eligible for referral fees associated with those specific upgrades.

In the event of a company sale or a change in leadership, our agreement remains valid and unaffected. Our contractual commitment is tied to the company itself, not specific individuals. Therefore, regardless of any changes in ownership or personnel, as long as Blue Media Marketing, Inc. or its successor entity continues to exist, all obligations and terms of our agreement will remain intact.

Since Blue Media was founded, we have cultivated strong referral partnerships and have relied heavily on referrals as a key aspect of our business.

The majority of our referrals originate from marketing agencies that recommend SEO and PPC clients to our services, earning a 15% referral fee in return. Additionally, we have independent contractors who have made a habit of referring clients to us.

Referral partnerships are of utmost importance to Blue Media as they drive our growth and success.

Once our referral partners begin working with us, they consistently maintain their referral activity.

The choice of your role is entirely up to you, and we are prepared to adapt accordingly. If you prefer to simply make the introduction and take a more hands-off approach, that is absolutely fine. Alternatively, if you wish to actively participate in the sales process and provide comprehensive support, we will gladly leverage the advantage you bring. Additionally, if you have your own services to offer but would like us to handle aspects such as SEO and/or PPC, we can accommodate that as well. Regardless of the role you choose, the referral fee is yours.

Once the lead has signed an agreement and a payment comes through, our accounting department will contact you, usually asking what payment method you prefer.

You can always ask us how the conversion process is evolving and your Blue Media contact person would be happy to keep you in the loop. Nevertheless, you can also play an active role in the sales process by joining the ongoing conversations and supporting the sales team.

Our accounting department takes care of referral fee payments. They usually send checks or uses payment methods such as Check, PayPal or Zelle.

Simply introduce us a lead, e.g. by email. Most leads are referred to us with only once sentence:
